www.acresgm.co.uk(3 months since we started work on the site) - A garden landscaping and maintenance company providing services in the london and Northamptonshire area. They contacted us after concluding that conventional advertising resources such as yell, local papers etc quite simply weren't generating enough business. Whilst the designer of the site had produced a clean tidy design they'd done little that will help with regards search engine placement and had made a number of really shocking mistakes. Prior to us starting work on this site it was nowhere to be found in the search engine results. Current standings three months from work starting are.

"ground maintenance" - 4th on google
"garden services" - 3rd on google
"landscaping services" - 4th on google
"gardening services" - 3rd on google
Still to do - Tidy up appearance, canonical domains
300% increase in traffic.
www.urbandojo.co.uk(8 months since we started work on the site) - Now only 8 months old and very much in its infancy. Based on the very capable cubecart script. Cubecart's a great value ecommerce solution but is somewhat lacking from an seo perspective. Another homemade site that will benefit greatly from the changes we have made.

Site went straight onto page 1 for targeted phrases "boxing supplies", "boxing equipment" and boxing gloves.
Top 3 for the above in the next 3 months.
www.discreetlywrapped.co.uk(ADULT SITE)(5 months since we started work on the site) - The first site we worked on after forming specialist seo. The owners of this site had a very clear concept in mind, they wanted a site selling adult products but focusing on a discreet simple service. A great concept but to compete in anything of an adult nature on the net nowadays you need an extremely well set-up site with a great link profile. After initial consultation we agreed on a number of popular keyphrases to target. What we call second tier phrases in that rather than go for broke and target the same phrase as everyone else we decided it was essential to generate traffic and stabilize the site first.
Currently the number 1 site both worldwide and locally for the phrase "sex dolls". Considering there are pages from the bbc, marie clare and ananova competing for this phrase its quite an achievement. More importantly Discreetlywrapped is now a profitable online business.
Problems included 2500 pages with the same title and description, huge duplication issues, a non existant link profile.
We're now targeting the phrase "rabbit vibrators " and are currently 6th globally and climbing.
Unique visitors have increased from an average of 90 to in excess of 500 per day.

www.jetskiforum.co.uk(3 months since we started work on the site) A community site setup by a Jetski enthusiast. He'd put the site together himself using the very popular PHP-BB forum script but then didnt know what to do next. Its a non profit site fuelled by his passion for the sport and as such he didn't have a large budget. However by correcting on-page and session id issues whilst performing some basic link generation tasks the membership has risen from a handful of people to more than 500.

More importantly however with forum type sites such as this is that the search engines recognise each page as unique content and index each new entry as such. Therefore, as the members continue adding posts and threads to the site the search engines index more pages and the volume of visitors continues to increase.
