Fact. Search engine marketing and SEO work can at times be mind numbing soul destroying work. At times when you’ve worked until the early hours of the morning for little or no immediate benefit to yourself or the sites your working on.
But then, every now and then and largely due to the very nature of Google SEM can at times be hugely satisfying and rewarding work.
Todays been a good day for one of the site’s I’ve been working on. It’s seems that Urban Dojo has now broken free from the grasp of Google’s infamous “sandbox”. For the benefit of those of you that don’t know about the sandbox your can read an earlier sandbox post here.
Not only has Urban Dojo now broken free from the sandbox its nestled nicely at the bottom of the first page of results for the two highly competitive key phrases i’ve been targeting during it’s “InThe Sand” infancy. Pretty impressive if I do say so myself. The allinanchor & allintitle tools had indicated it’s likely position to be mid page 3 once released so it’s fair to say I’m happy with the results at this stage.
For those that have sites currently sand boxed you’ll no doubt be interested in knowing that from site registration to page 1 has taken 8 months to the day nearly.
Now for the final push to the top, whilst adding content along the way.
The Sand Box is a pain, but oh so satisfying when you get a site free from it’s evil traffic killing claws.
